How Eldegoss plays

Eldegoss’s Unite Move is Cotton Cloud Crash, an attack that lifts Eldegoss into the air to slam down onto the ground, restoring HP to allies and dealing damage to opposing Pokémon.

  1. Leafage
  2. Synthesis
  3. Pollen Puff
  4. Cotton Spore
Full Heal may also be run allowing a greater area knock up with Cotton Spore or for cleansing to activate Cotton Cloud Crash. Eldegoss should always have at least one source of attack speed whether it be Muscle Band or Attack Speed Emblems. Additional Attack Speed by using Muscle Band and Attack Speed Emblems is actually beneficial still. When running both Muscle Band and Curse Incense, Buddy Barrier should be priority for the third item slot. In a case of Muscle Band and Curse Incense as first two items, Resonant Guard may be substituted for Buddy Barrier for early game pressure but be cognizant that Cotton Cloud Crash will need to be used more proactively and less reactively without the Buddy Barrier shield.

This loadout should be considered for a higher protection focused playstyle. Bulk CDR emblems bolster the effects of Buddy Barrier and Resonant Guard which are then enhanced by Rescue Hood. Attack Speed emblems may still be used if desired. Leaf Tornado may be considered for its utility instead of Pollen Puff. If playing Leaf Tornado, prioritize level 10 for Leaf Tornado+. Leaf Tornado+'s blind aspect is fantastic counter to auto attack reliant Pokémon and earlier on in the game Leaf Tornado's movement speed carpet allows your team faster rotations.

Prioritize level 10 for Leaf Tornado+. Leaf Tornado+'s blind aspect is fantastic counter to auto attack reliant Pokémon and earlier on in the game Leaf Tornado's movement speed carpet allows your team faster rotations. Eject Button is preferred due to having a Leaf Tornado for movement speed already. Full Heal may also be run allowing a greater area knock up with Cotton Spore or for cleansing to activate Cotton Cloud Crash. Buddy Barrier is still preferred due to the mechanics Cotton Cloud Crash but this moveset can be played more aggressively with aggressive item choices. Eldegoss should have at least one source of attack speed for this moveset whether it be Muscle Band or Attack Speed Emblems.
