When this Pokémon hits only a single enemy with a basic attack, a move, or their Unite Move, the hit is always a critical hit. However, when hitting two or more enemies at once with a basic attack, a move, or its Unite Move, the hits are never critical hits.
Becomes a boosted attack with every third attack, dealing increased damage to enemies within a cone area of effect in front of this Pokémon.

Charge forward, dealing damage to any enemy hit and leave them unable to act for a short time.
Upgrade choice · level 6
Increases movement speed for a short time and changes the next basic attack. When Azumarill performs their next basic attack, lunge at one enemy in range and deliver repeated blows; dealing damage to that target and leave it unable to act for a short time.
Level 12: Further increases movement speed when this move is used, and also reduces this move’s cooldown.
Shoot a pulsing blast of water in front of Azumarill. When the blast of water hits an enemy, decrease that Pokémon’s movement speed and deal damage to all enemies in an area of effect around the initial target hit. The blast of water then automatically bounces to another target if one is available. Including the first target, the blast of water can bounce between up to 3 targets consecutively, and each hit behaves in the same way as the first. While the blast of water is traveling, Azumarill can perform a short rolling dash in a designated direction.
Level 12: Increase the maximum number of targets that the blast of water can bounce between by 2.

Spray bubbles in a cone; dealing damage to enemies in the area of effect and decrease their movement speed for a short time. This move can be used while moving.
Upgrade choice · level 4
For a short time, four small whirlpools appear that swirl around Azumarill as they move. If a whirlpool hits an enemy, the whirlpool deals damage and restores Azumarill's HP. If a whirlpool hits an enemy player, an increased amount of HP is restored.
Level 10: Reduce this move’s cooldown and increases the amount of HP it restored.
Increases the speed and area of effect of Azumarill's next 3 basic attacks. If these basic attacks hit from a distance, they also deal increased damage, restore Azumarill's HP, and can ignore the Defense stat and shield effects of enemies hit.
Level 10: After activating this move, Azumarill's next 3 basic attacks will also reduce the cooldown of all moves when they hit an enemy from a distance.

Azumarill pounds their belly 3 times, granting a shield. With each pound, Azumarill loses HP in exchange for increased Attack. Azumarill can move while pounding their belly. Afterward, target an enemy and then charge at the target; dealing damage to them and throwing all enemies hit while charging.
How Azumarill scales from level 1 to 15, and where it lands against the rest of the roster.
Level 15, scaled between the lowest and highest value across all 98 Pokémon rather than from zero — a full bar means best in the game.
How each stat scales from level 1 to max.
Each line is scaled to its own maximum so the curves stay comparable — HP is far larger in absolute terms than the other stats. Exact values are in the table below.
